Dwight Lynn Baylor

Palmyra: Dwight Lynn Baylor, age 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his residence on October 1, 2019. He was born August 28, 1951 to Samuel Michael Baylor and Anna Mae Thompson. Dwight married Sally (Long) Baylor on December 23, 1978. He was a truck driver and worked at and retired from Steel Dynamics. Dwight enjoyed truck driving, riding his lawn mower, working in his garage, and spending time with his family.

Dwight is preceded in death by two sons Ricky Baylor and Troy Baylor, his parents, and his brothers Stephen Baylor and Roy Baylor.

Dwight is survived by his wife Sally (Long) Baylor, his step-mother Margaret(Gettelfinger) Baylor,  one son Robert (Nadell) Baylor, two daughters Shelly Baylor and Sierra Baylor,  four brothers Randy(Roxanne) Baylor, Ronald Baylor, Terry Baylor, Michael (Scarlett) Baylor, two sisters Penny (Susie) Baylor, Connie (Don) Rose , one step sister Roxanne (Clinton) Rouff, 3 step brothers Millard Kendricks, Paul Kendricks, and Charles (Shelly) Kendricks, and a sister-in-law Ellen Baylor. Seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive.

Cremation was chosen by the family. A Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday October 4, 2019 with visitation the same day from 12:00 p.m. till time of service.
