Dr. Gregory Lynn Philpott, MD

Dr. Gregory Lynn Philpott, MD, age 70 of Greenville, Indiana passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018, in his residence.
He was a Family Physician, as well as a licensed Optometrist, Auctioneer, Real Estate Broker and Pilot. He was a member ofthe American Medical Association, American Acadamy of Family Physicians and the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians and was a past member of Doctors Without Borders

Survivors include: His wife: Rebecca, 4 children: Amber (Ryan) Banet, of Floyds Knobs, IN, Jonathan (Renee) Philpott, of Goshen, KY, Victoria (Justin) Schrank of Georgetown, IN and Devan Philpott of Jeffersonville, IN. Also his brother,  David (Jamie) Bower and grandchildren: Smith, Addyson, Nora, Reid and Isla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence R. and Colleen M. (Hattabaugh) Philpott of Salem and a brother, Eric Philpott, also of Salem.

Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Wednesday  and  9 am until the time of the service on Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home.  
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home with George Browning officiating and committal and interment following the service at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem.
