Teresa Howard

Teresa Howard, 60, of Scottsburg, Indiana, died on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, in Scott County. Born January 6, 1958, in Clark County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Dennis L. Howard and Mabel (Miniard Howard) Birkla.

She was bar manager at the American Legion Post #234, a life member of VFW #6582, and American Legion #234 Auxiliary. She liked fishing, flowers, birdhouses, watching birds, and horse back riding.

Survivors include her husband, Robert A. Amick; her mother, Mabel Birkla; sons: William (Melissa) Amick and Christopher (Rochelle) Amick; daughters: Sherry (Ben) Petty, Kim Chandler; and Melissa Amick; a sister, Mamie Richey; a brother, Michael Howard; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her faher.

Visitation is Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. at Stewart & Hoagland Funeral Home. A graveside service and entombment will be held following the visitation at Sodom Cemetery in Underwood, Indiana.
