Mildred W. St.Clair

Mildred W. St.Clair, 95, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Episcopal Church Home in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on April 19, 1923, in McHenry, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Cecil Anderson Wakeland and Arminda (Young) Wakeland.
Mildred was married to James Terrell St.Clair, who preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 1975. She was a homemaker, a farmer's wife and a wonderful cook. Mildred attended the First Baptist Church and the New Providence Baptist Church both in Scottsburg, Indiana, for most of her adult life and was a member of the Phi Beta Psi Sorority and the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter # 107.
Survivors include a daughter, Ada Boatright and husband, Ken, of Louisville, Kentucky; a son, Roger St.Clair, and wife, Carol, of Prescott, Arizona; a sister: Lola Eberenz of Louisville, Kentucky; a brother, Cecil Ray Wakeland and wife, Mary of Louisville, Kentucky; three grandchildren, James Ryan Boatright (Caroline), Sarah Williams (Grant) and Emily Messmer (Bryan) and four great grandchildren, Malo Boatright, Tate and Burke Williams, and Westyn Messmer.
Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home with Reverend Donald C. Humphrey officiating. Visitation: 11 am to 2 pm Wednesday.
Interment will be in Scottsburg Cemetery.
