Donald D. Gullion, 81, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at The Waters of Scottsburg. He was born on May 5, 1937 in Switzerland County, Indiana, the son of the late Hershel Gullion and Irene (Dickerson) Gullion. Don was a retired machinist and served as Union President for the old Eden Corporation in Louisville, Kentucky, where he worked for 28 years. After retiring, he continued working at the old Smith Cabinet Company in Salem, Indiana for 10 years and the old Kallembach Corporation in Walesboro, Indiana for 8 years. Don was also farmer and raised cattle earlier in his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean (Melton) Gullion and one brother, Russell Gullion. Survivors include two sons, Scott Gullion and wife Joanna of Scottsburg, Indiana and Wayne Gullion and wife Kim of Zionsville, Indiana; four daughters, Sandy Moore of Henryville, Indiana, Beverly Garvin and husband Bill of Lanesville, Indiana, Barbara Stevens and husband Tom of Henryville, Indiana and Tammy Mace and husband Kevin of Scottsburg, Indiana; three brothers, Fred Gullion and wife Rowena of Underwood, Indiana, Larry Gullion and wife Ruth and Bob Gullion and wife Martha all of Charlestown, Indiana; two sisters, Joyce Gibson and husband John and Jeanette Jackson all of Charlestown, Indiana; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Funeral Service: 11:00 am Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Joey Ehlers officiating. Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Wednesday and after 9 am Thursday.
