Wron Wade shears a sheep in 1984.

This photo from the 1984 county fair shows Wron Wade quickly shearing a sheep. The wool was then used in a "Sheep to Shawl" competition in which teams started with freshly-sheared wool and turned it into a completed item during the afternoon.
