SR 39 to close July 29-Aug. 2 for pipe replacements

JACKSON/WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ind.— S.R. 39 is scheduled to close from S.R. 250 to S.R. 256 beginning Monday, July 29, through Friday, August 2, for INDOT maintenance crews to continue pipe replacement work. The road will close daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. while work is completed.
Work will take place near Tampico in Jackson County. County roads will be accessible to local traffic only.
The official state detour for the closure is S.R. 256 to I-65 to S.R. 250.
All work is weather dependent.
