Seniors celebrate

Looking for something to do on New Year's Eve? The Salem Senior Center, located at 1705 N. Shelby St., is hosting a dance from 8 p.m. until midnight. The Denny Sims band will perform, there will be games and prizes, as well as catered finger foods. Cost is $8.

The center celebrates birthdays with a monthly lunch sponsored by John Jones Auto Group.
