Washington County Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts took part in the annual Pinewood Derby Saturday, held this year at East Washington Elementary School.

Scouts raced cars they made and painted themselves on a track specially designed for the derby. The track was purchased several years ago, made possible by a grant from the Washington County Community Foundation.

There were divisions for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, a race pitting boys against girls and even a category for adults.
