Make Washington County the best

Empower yourself at leadership training

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce wants Washington County to be the best it can be. In order to do that, they are hosting an event that will help residents become strong leaders with a positive impact.

The Washington County Waymakers is a training, of sorts, for business owners and managers who want to make their businesses better. In a statement from the chamber board, they said, “In order to pour into our own businesses, we need to pour into ourselves to make sure we are doing the best we can.”

The day of empowerment will be a time to share key ideas and useful tools to help everyone become great leaders in Washington County.

The event is free and will be Thursday, April 22, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Senior Citizens building. The deadline to sign up is Friday, April 16. Call or email Tara Kritzer at the chamber office, 812-883-4303 or tara@washingtoncountychamber.org to register or ask questions. Kritzer added, “This one-day leadership conference for Continuing Education and Professional Development Points!”

“We encourage employers and their staff to attend this hope-inspired, empowering 1-day conference to share ideas, encourage each other and leave ready to positively impact your workplace and community!”

If there are not enough participants, the event may have to be rescheduled.
