IU Center for Rural Engagement Free Filmmaking workshop

Filmmaking, From the Basics to Beyond is a FREE workshop offered at the Ivy Tech Community Learning Center on North Shelby Street, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tomorrow, Saturday Aug. 17 will cover writing, the seminar on Saturday, Sept. 14 will cover shooting, Oct. 19 will cover lighting, Nov. 16 will cover sound, and Dec. 14 will cover editing. Over the course of five weeks, participants of all levels are welcomed to experience the wonders of filmmaking. With each week focusing on a different aspect, this workshop is designed to give you the confidence and skills to find and share your own stories through filmmaking.
