First update from primary election

The primary elections are a little different is year. Not only being pushed to June 2, but results are being released to an empty court room, filled with ony media. Washington is the first precinct to come in. Locally, in the Republican contested race for Coronor, Peg Schell, 53 and 39 votes for Steven Tye.

Council at large seats for Republicans are Bubba Abbott 51, Randale Brishaber 48, Jason Cockerill 39, Gerald Fleming 26, Duane Malloy, 45 and Keeley Stingel 61.

Peg Schell leads Republican Coroner candidate Steven Tye, 295 to 233, in Washington 1,2,3,4 precincts. Totals for Washington County precinct in the Council at large seat show Keeley Stingel leading with 328, followed by Rondale Brishaber 291, Mark Abbott 285, Duane Malloy 246, Jason Cockerill 222 and Gerald Fleming Sr 182.
