Egg Hunts

Saturday, April 3:

Westside Baptist Church will be having a community Easter egg hunt at DePauw Park (next to Riley’s Park) at 10 a.m. Masks and social distancing will be required.

Saturday, April 3:

Salem Speedway will host its first annual Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. on the infield. Kids, age 13 and younger, are welcome.

Friday, April 2:

10th Cross Across the County will start at 6:45 a.m. from Blue River Friends Church located at 1931 N. Quaker Rd. and will travel 10.3 miles, stopping at various places for a moment of prayer. The cross’s journey will end at noon at First Baptist Church in Salem, located at 200 E. Walnut St. in Salem. 

Friday, April 2:

At 7 p.m. the Pekin United Methodist Church will host the Service of Tenebrae, which is based on a 12th-century service and is an extended meditation on the passion of Christ. During this time of mediation, you will be able hear the words from the Bible, and get an understanding of the life of Christ. The church is located at 244 S. Shorts Corner Rd.
