DAR celebrates women's right to vote

Christopher Harrison Daughters of the American Revolution members joined forces for a partriotic march around the Washington County Courthouse on Wednesday. The occasion was to celebrate the anniversary of the 19th Amendment for Women’s Right to Vote and to encourage everyone to vote on Election Day, Nov. 3, 2020.

The county commissioners gave DAR permission for this peaceful event, which was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m
