Beck's Mill May Day is Saturday

Steve Tye and Jonathan Sears will be among the reenactors present.

Beck’s Mill in Salem will have their 5th annual May Day Festival this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The mill will have many demonstrations like blacksmithing, pottery, wooden cutting boards, macrame’, walking stick carving with an old tool displays and of course corn milling.
Children will enjoy face painting, rock painting, potato stamps, Mothers day flower art and stories from Johnny Appleseed himself. Music will be from 6 different artists/bands thru the day. Parking lot activities will include the 38th Indiana Company D Civil War living history re-enactors doing drills, camping and much more.
Also Flea and Craft vendors with a Mt. Carmel chicken barbeque with Johnny Woodward and Louie Courtney grilling.
Adult admission is $5.00 and children age 16 and under are admitted free with a paid adult. The mill is located at 4433 S. Becks Mill Rd, Salem.
