Beck's Mill 5K run/walk coming up Sept. 7

The Beck’s Mill 5K run/walk will be Saturday, Sept. 7th.  Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. at the mill and the race begins at 9 a.m. along with free family/group hikes and tour. 

“The Grind VII” entry fee is $20 and proceeds go to the upkeep of the mill, especially a much-needed roof repair. The race begins and ends at the mill. Snacks and drinks are provided before and after the race. The homemade soups have become quite popular. 

The award ceremony will begin around 10:15 a.m. with 5k walk awards given to the overall female/male winner and to the top three female/male walkers.  Runner awards are given to the overall female/male winner and to the top three female/male in each age group: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and over.
