Bark for Life is this weekend!

American Cancer Society/Washington County Relay for Life is hosting their annual Bark for Life event at Lake Salinda, Saturday, Oct. 6.

This event honors the life-long contributions of canine caregivers. These dogs demonstrate unconditional love, joy, compassion, and no judgments of cancer survivors’ abilities or appearances.

Bark for Life celebrates all our puppers, doggos, and floofers with a fun day out including contests, games, treats and prizes, plus demonstrations and an opportunity to have your dog(s) photo taken by a professional.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with opening ceremonies at 9 a.m.

Registration is $25 per first dog, $30 for two dogs and $35 for three dogs.

Participants may register in advance at www.relayforlife.org/barkwashingtoncountyin.

Please remember dogs must be on a leash and dogs must be current on rabies and distemper shots, so please bring proof of shots.

Also, be prepared to clean up after your four-legged friends.
