CLARK/JACKSON/SCOTT COUNTY, Ind. — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Midwestern Electric, LLC. plans to conduct temporary nighttime lane closures on I-65 beginning on or after Tuesday, August 27, to complete guardrail installation work in Clark, Jackson and Scott Counties. Work is expected to take up to two nights, weather permitting.
The lane closures are currently scheduled as follows:
- Tuesday, August 27 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. (weather permitting): The right lane of northbound I-65 will close approximately 2.5 miles south of Henryville at mile marker 17.5 in Clark County.
- Wednesday, August 28 from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. (weather permitting): The right lane of northbound I-65 will close approximately 2.5 miles north of Austin at mile marker 35.5 in Scott County.
- Wednesday, August 28 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. (weather permitting): The right lane of southbound I-65 will close approximately 2.5 miles north of Crothersville at mile marker 38.5 in Jackson County.
INDOT reminds motorists to slow down, use caution and drive distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
