Memory care center receives superior designation

SALEM, IN - American Senior Communities has designated eight of its memory care centers, including Salem Crossing, as Purple Butterfly Memory Care Centers of Distinction, designating those centers as top providers of memory care.

Memory care centers provide 24-hour care to those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.  They must meet state and federal standards, but these eight communities surpass standards in providing care.

Enhanced services provide a higher quality of life for residents and offer a broader range of support to families and other caregivers. Salem Crossing is located at 200 Connie Ave in Salem.

Other Purple Butterfly Memory Care Centers of Distinctions include Coventry Meadows and Heritage Park in Fort Wayne, Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center in Newburgh, Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford, East Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Elkhart, Rosegate in Indianapolis and Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg.
