Lifeline Screenings

Residents living in and around Salem can benefit from affordable health screenings by making plans to attend the Life Line Screening event sponsored by Baptist Health on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.

The event will be held at Mt. Tabor Christian Church, 7380 W. Mt. Tabor Road, Salem. Preregistration is required by calling 1-877-237-1287 or on their website, www.lifelinescreening.com. The packages start at $149, but consultants can work with you to create a package that fits your needs based on age and risk factors.

Testing includes HDL and LDL cholesterol levels, diabetes, bone density, kidney and thyroid function and level of plaque buildup in the arteries, which can be a precursor to heart disease, stroke and overall vascular health.

The testing is affordable, convenient and wheelchair accessible.
