IEDC seeks information for economic injury disaster loans

The Trump Administration has allocated $50 billion to the Small Business Administration for economic injury disaster loans for small businesses that have been or anticipate being impacted by the pandemic and related closures. For Hoosiers to gain access to this funding, the IEDC needs to collect small business impact data from every county in Indiana, so Gov. Holcomb can declare an economic injury disaster.

“We are working diligently to gain access to this funding and would greatly appreciate your help,” said IEDC Communications Manager Zach Weismiller.

If you are, or know of, an entrepreneur or small business who has been impacted or anticipates being impacted by the coronavirus, complete the form found HERE.

“Information obtained from the form will only be used to assist in requesting an economic injury disaster declaration from SBA and identifying the greatest areas of need,” said Weismiller.

Once a disaster declaration is made for designated areas within Indiana, information on the application process for economic injury disaster loan assistance will be updated HERE.
