Hemp workshop

A Purdue Extension Hemp Workshop for those interested in raising hemp, which is jointly organized by the Purdue Extension Educators in the 9 counties that make up Area 2, will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in the Community Building on the Clark County 4-H Fairgrounds, 9608 Highway 62, Charlestown, IN  47111.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the collecting of $10 to help cover the cost of presenters and handout materials, as well as the $10 fee for those Indiana private pesticide applicators desiring Pesticide Applicators Recertification Program (PARP) credit. Continuing Credit Hour’s (CCH’s) have also been approved for Indiana commercial pesticide applicators in Categories 1 (3 CCH’s), 14 (2 CCH’s), and RT (3 CCH’s).  Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) for Certified Crop Advisors (CCA’s) have been requested. 

The program then runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  RSVP is required by March 10, to plan for the meal and handouts.
