Not stuffing yourself like a turkey is a challenge during the holidays. However, 233 out of 267 participants in this year’s Maintain No Gain were successful in not gaining weight over Thanksgiving.
Organizer Tami Branaman said 15 teams are signed up this year, as well as a bookstore dog! Lili, the bookstore dog from Austy’s Books, was told by her vet that she need to go on a diet, so she has been added to the challenge!
Participating teams this year are: The Salem Leader, East Washington, West Washington, Salem and Borden schools, Knapp Miller Brown Insurance, Dr. Morgan’s office, Jean’s Extrusions, YMCA, Eddie Gilstrap Motors, Washington County WIC, Purdue Extension office, Vision First, Austy’s Books and Hoosier Hills PACT, for a total of 268 participants.
The lucky winner of the cup for the first round is Renee Denning from Visionfirst.
Check back next week to see who the next winner will be.
