Father's Day gift package

Included in the Father's Day gift package is a certificate to Wayne's Barber Shop. Dad gets to sit in a comfortable chair, feet off the ground while he gets spruced up with a haircut. Pictured is Wayne Adams, one of three barbers in the shop located at 208 N. Water St.

President Lyndon B. Johnson issued the first presidential proclamation honoring fathers on the third Sunday in June in 1966.
This year, the day to honor dear old dad is Sunday, June 16. Don’t scramble trying to find the perfect gift to impress the man who consistently goes above and beyond. And there’s no need to break the bank either.
The Salem Leader has teamed up with local businesses to create a Father’s Day “gift package.” A limited number are available.
Each package contains certificates from Thunder Valley Raceway, Lincks Clothing & Shoes, Nice’s Family Diner, Wayne’s Barber Shop, and Mosier Family Chiropractic.
Dad may have a new favorite T-shirt with the certificate from Lincks Clothing & Shoes. And he can wear it when he uses his ticket from the package to attend a race at Thunder Valley Raceway.
Your father can sharpen up his looks with the certificate for a haircut from Wayne’s Barber Shop and what dad wouldn’t appreciate a hearty breakfast from Nice’s Family Diner?
Tell dad you’ve got his back when he uses the certificate for a chiropractic package from Mosier Family Chiropractic.
A Father’s Day gift package includes all these things and it doesn’t need wrapping.
Stop by The Salem Leader office, 117-119 E. Walnut St. (across from the Salem Post Office) and “tie” up your Father’s Day shopping. Packages are $15. The certificates expire Nov. 30, 2019.
