Cleanup day this Saturday

Washington County Chamber of Commerce board member, Ryan Buchanan, has coordinated a cleanup day for this Saturday, March 7. The Washington County Family YMCA will be participating also.

Volunteers are asked to meet at the Save A Lot parking lot at 9 a.m. You will be shuttled to the cleanup area which includes Cox Ferry and Highland Roads, potentially others if time permits.

Gloves, bags and water will be provided. Bring pickers/grabbers if you prefer and please wear bright colored clothing or vests.

Although safety barriers will be in place, the trash pick up will be alongside roads with little or no shoulder.
