City Clean Up April 7

Washington County residents are invited to celebrate Earth Day with a community event.

A clean up day has been set for Saturday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The group will meet at Salem Center Peace and gloves and trash bags will be provided.

Everyone is welcome to participate and free t-shirts will be given to all volunteers. The event will be held rain or shine.

There will be food and goodies served afterwards.

Register by March 30 by calling Shelbie Stephenson at 812-883-3006 or by emailing shelbie.stephenson@in.nacdnet.net.

The event is sponsored by Mill Creek-Blue River Watershed, Kimball Office, Ace Hardware, Cheddar Depot and Scotty’s Sanitation.
