Ace Hardware to host nationwide paint party

Ace Hardware of Salem will celebrate Ace Hardware’s Biggest Paint Sale of the Year by hosting the Neighborhood Paint Party, an event held at participating Ace stores nationwide on March 24. As part of the event, consumers will have an opportunity to participate in Ace’s first-ever Color of the Year contest, watch paint demonstrations and take advantage of great deals on paints including Buy One, Get One Free* on exclusive Ace and Valspar paints.

The Neighborhood Paint Party will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 24, and aims to captivate consumers by engaging visuals, color-inspired music, and encourage consumers to interact with paint in a new and exciting way.

• Color of the Year Contest: For the first time ever, Ace is looking to consumers to create and name Ace’s 2019 Color of the Year. During the Neighborhood Paint Party, consumers will be encouraged to mix, create and name their own unique paint color.

One local winner will receive a prize package and entry into Ace’s Color of the Year Contest.

• Nationwide Voting and Prizes: The top twenty-five Ace Color of the Year finalists will be posted on Ace’s social channels for a nationwide consumer vote. The color and name combination with the most votes will be deemed Ace’s 2019 Color of the Year, and the creator will receive a $1,000 Ace Gift Card. The top six finalists will also receive a $250 Ace Gift Card.**
