Watch her go

It’s a rite of passage. Learning to ride a bike without training wheels. Recently we moved our youngest child into that stage and I feel like it’s one of the last stages of preschool age accomplishments. 

Our youngest is our third child and I have to say, as I have with every one of our kids, these accomplishments are just as exciting as they were with our oldest. The difference is this time, we had two more helpers to teacher her how to ride her bike. She loves her big sisters, so having them riding beside her and encouraging her was big.

What’s crazy is how fast and early our youngest does things trying to keep up with her two older sisters. She is pretty head strong and doesn’t give up easily.  

These last few months we have all been amazed at how much she has grown. With four years between each of the girls, the two oldest remember the day the baby of the family was born. They have loved watching her grow in each stage and have celebrated all of her accomplishments right along beside her. 

I try hard to live in the moment and enjoy each stage with my kids. Sometimes life gets away from me and other times, I relish in the moment and am so thankful I’m able to be present to see all these accomplishments.

Life truly does go by so fast.
