Leader Publishing Company is jumping on the bandwagon and joining the rock-hunting craze. We held a rock decorating contest prior to this year’s home and garden show and most of those entries will be hidden around the fairgrounds during the show, held Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28.

Once at the H&G show, visit the @salemindianarocks booth in the Open Class Building to pick up a card with pictures of all of the hidden rocks, then walk around the show looking for the rocks. Each rock will have a letter associated with it, simply write that letter next to the picture of the rock on your contest card. When all the rocks are found, return your completed card back to the @salemindianarocks booth to be registered for the grand prize.

Walmart has teamed up with Leader Publishing Company and is sponsoring a grand prize suitable for all agesof a $50 Walmart gift card. Everyone is invited to come out and participate in the rock hunt.

Another feature offered at the @salemindianarocks booth will be a paint station. Representatives from the group will be there to set young visitors up with a rock and paint supplies. The rock will then be left at the booth to dry and then can be reclaimed when the child leaves the H&G show.

While looking for rocks, also register and receive a H&G Show prize card for a chance to win one of three grand prizes and visit the over 50 booths to register for prizes valued at $25.

There are many chances to win and spend an enjoyable spring day doing it.
