SHS Announces New Graduation Date

Salem High School announced the new graduation date for the class of 2020. The new date is set for Saturday, July 11.

In a media release the school announced that in following with Governor Holcomb’s guidelines that the original date of May 23 had to be pushed back. After surveying members of the class of 2020 and their parents, the school settled on Saturday, July 11. The school said they will be working with the state and county health departments to track any changes to the Governor’s Executive Orders.  More details will be provided by June 1.

The school also announced students may begin picking up personal belongings that are still in the schools the week of May 26, and will provide more details on exact times next week. During that time student and parents can also return Chromebooks and Library books.
