Schools celebrate Dr. Seuss and settle in for a good read

Schools celebrated Read Across America Day with several days of fun, Dr. Seuss-themed activities and dress up last week. Did your child dress up or did you snap a photo of some special story time with your child? We'd love to see them!

Reporter Kate Wehlann's birthday falls on Red Across America Day and she continued her tradition of reading to elementary classrooms on Thursday and Friday as March 2 fell on a Saturday this year. It was fitting that she brought "Green Eggs and Ham" to Micah Gilliam's second-grade class on Bradie Shrum's Green Eggs and Ham Day Thursday.
