Salem closes schools, IHSAA activities continue

Salem Community Schools announced that in-person instruction will be closed Friday, Oct. 16 through Friday, Oct. 30, due to COVID related issues. Remote Learning will take place daily until  in-person instruction resumes on Monday, Nov. 2.

Currently, COVID cases, close contact and self-quarantining are impacting all three of the community school buildings.

Individual student course work will be posted by the teachers to Google Classrooms by 9 a.m. each day.

IHSAA in season activities may continue at this time during the Remote Learning days. Online Lions will continue as scheduled.
