Washington County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Fast Pace Health located at 1312 Hackberry St. in Salem. The ribbon cutting was Tuesday August 6. They have approximately 30 locations in Indiana and are located across from Walmart. Tristen Williams regional manager, was on hand to provide a tour of the new facility with five rooms for patients, rooms for X-rays, drug screening and a break room.
The hours at this time are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The hours will expand in Mid-October when they are fully staffed. This will be a seven day week schedule. Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
On hand to care for your needs is a Nurse Practitioner, Medical Assistant, and X-ray Technician. They provide services for occupational health such as physicals, drug screens, and DOT physical exams. They will provide treatment for illnesses, aches and pain. There is on site lab testing and X-rays. Also, treatment for injuries, rashes, burns, cuts (stitches) are provided as well. Prevention and wellness services are also included. Health screenings and testing, plus physical, vaccines and worker’s compensation injuries are in their ream of services.
Fast pace Health’s first day was greeted with 14 patients, and 18 the next day. On hand for the ribbon cutting was Mayor Justin Green, Judy Johnson WCCF, Angie Buchanan Washington Co. Economic Growth, and Jonathon Pearce field representative for U.S. Representative Erin Houchin.
