Kindergarten celebrates #100

BSE Kindergarten teachers Pam Barry, Jenisa Collier, Brooke Ingram, Amy Weaver and Stephanie Bower held a Mystery Day where someone took their #100 and they couldn’t have #100 day without figuring out the clues.  “We will have 11 missions to accomplish.  We gain a clue after finishing each mission.  They include counting to 100 by 1’s, by 5’s and by 10’s, stacking 100 items, and writing our numbers to 100,” Mrs. Barry said.

“We also worked on finding 10 different ways to make a group of 10, using our magnifying glasses to read numbers, making a snack out of 10 different items, figuring out who stole the cookies by looking at fingerprints, and more.”

It was a successful day, too, as the #100 was found hiding by the playground.

Mrs. Barry’s class is pictured along with Mady Elrod posing with the caterpillar with, of course, 100 legs.
