The ins and outs of popcorn

East Washington Elementary School students have been spending time during the harves season in the popcorn patch, which is located on the school corporation's campus. Here, she explains to students the process corn goes through before it is ready to be popped. EWES students also use the popcorn as a fundraiser. The popcorn is sold all summer long at the Washington County Farmer's Market and would have been sold at the school's fall festival, but it had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
