Driving for dyslexia

The Houchins take the stage at the CAST fundraiser for dyslexia to tell their story and to introduce the guest speaker, Elliott Cox.

Erin and Dustin Houchin became advocates for dyslexia when their son Graham was diagnosed with the disorder. They questioned why no one was equiped to help Graham but then realized maybe they were being called to be a part of the solution.  Elliott Cox, a 12-year old with dyslexia, was the speaker at a fundraiser for CAST who is working with the Houchins to better equip teachers and tudors to help dyslexic students learn in a better way.

See the story in the Sept.10 edition of The Salem Leader.
