Job Fair

Connect with multiple employers at one time in a single location. Speak directly with local companies face to face at Washington County’s job fair, hosted by Washington County Economic Growth Partnership.

The open house hiring event will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Washington County Senior Center, 1705 N. Shelby St. (next to the YMCA) in Salem. There will be light refreshments and a door prize drawing.

Participating employers include Skyline Suites, Mosier Family Chiropractic, MPP Campbellsburg, Blue River Services, Kimball, WorkOne, GKN, Blue River Wood Products, YMCA, Peerless Gear, Mid-Southern Savings Bank, Pitts Package Store, Jeans’ Extrusions Inc., H&R Bakery, and PeopleReady.

“Washington County has many great businesses, big and small.  While we understand many more businesses in our county are in need of employees, we wanted to start with this event.  If there is still a need, and we get public attendance at this event, we will plan another job fair in the future.  We wanted to give job seekers the chance to directly connect with these businesses, who are all currently hiring,” said WCEGP Program Director, Tammi Gibson.
