Easter Egg Event

Legacy Church….  13th Annual Easter Egg Event on April 20, 2019, at the Salem Community Park from Noon-4pm. They love to be able to see the community come together and enjoy a fun filled event with their families. This event started with around 4,000 eggs and has grown to over 12,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes. They provide an egg hunt for all ages and will have a special needs egg hunt again this year as well. They have drawings for prizes such as tickets from the Louisville Zoo, Indianapolis Speedway, as well as bicycles, and much more! They rely on the generosity of local churches, businesses, and individuals to help accomplish this fun, free event every year. Businesses and churches may set up booths for food or for their own drawing and giveaways.

Here are some ways that you can be involved:

  1. Join them by having a booth with food or a prize
  2. Volunteer to serve by directing parking, help in a booth, manage the cake walk, supervise the bouncy house area, etc
  3. Prize donations
  4. Financial donations
  5. Donation of individually wrapped candy-filled eggs (no chocolate please- it melts!)
  6. Cake walk/Baked donation
  7. Attend and take part of the events and activities

This is a community event dedicated to children and children at heart.  We ask there be no campaigning or distributing of political material at the event. This is a time to have fun and enjoy time with family, friends, and future friends! They are so excited for you to be a part of it! If you have any questions or would like to get involved, please contact Glinda Ledford at 502-693-9383.
