Steve Hawkins served as Superintendent and Susan Hawkins played piano.

There will be a Red Cross Blood Drive at Unity Hall in Orleans on Monday, Sept. 16, 12:00pm-6:00pm. 

Wonder Valley Christian Camp will host Senior Adult Day on Tues., Oct. 8th. Registration and Continental Breakfast will be 9:00am to 10:00am with the message, lunch, music, and program 10:00am-3:00pm. Tom Bostic, Orleans Christian Church minister, will lead the program. The suggested donation is $10 per person. Event registration is available online, or by calling the camp office at 812-883-4964.

Prayer was requested for Sue Denton, Lori Sorg, Kay Smith, Joe and Brenda Brewer, Grant Oldham, Ralph Ikerd, Don and Nancy Mahan, Harold and Sheila White, Ruby Wagoner's father-in-law, Jim and Carol Daugherty, Angie Basinger, Marietta Meehan, and Mark Meehan.

Elder Eugene Denton led the communion meditation from John 3:16, 17. Communion was served by Tony Sorg and Josh McDonald; Richard Keller and Aiden Keller assisted.

Brother Phil McDonald kicked off the new sermon series on prayer with a message entitled "The Lord's Prayer" from Matthew 6:9-13.

Celebrating birthdays this week are Aiden Keller (13th) and Alyssa Terry (14th). Jeremy and Liz Smith celebrate their 31st anniversary on Sept. 11th.
