Statement about why I’m the best candidate:
I’m currently the Washington County Auditor and have served in the position for the past four years.
I have gained experience and knowledge through continued education classes offered by the State of Indiana, Association of Indiana Counties and the Indiana County Auditor’s Association. I am proud to have been elected by the members of the County Auditor’s Association as district chairman.
I have gained useful insights into the operation, numerous duties and state standards required for the operation of the auditor’s office.
Under my leadership, I have kept a watchful eye on spending the tax payer’s money wisely and making required reports to state officials even when unpopular with local officials.
I pledge to continue to do a fair and outstanding job for our county.
